The Columbus Hospice Honor Project is a program that functions similarly to Make A Wish. We were presented with a request and we worked with our amazing community to fulfill a patient’s dream. Mary Frank was a life-long Braves fan, who at 89 years old, had never seen them play. We sought to make our sweet patient’s Braves dream come true! Ms. Mary saw her first-ever Braves game three days after her 89th birthday! This was made possible thanks to her grandchildren, her amazing social worker, Carole Wells, and especially, to Kenny Summers and AFLAC. AFLAC donated four seats in their Champions Suite, which included valet parking and unlimited food and drinks. Mary received a seat visit from Braves staff, and was gifted a First-Game Certificate and a Championship ring!
