Why Columbus Hospice?

Because we care.

Donna Morgan shares her thoughts on our commitment to the community. Watch below.

24/7 Registered Nurses on Call

We are available when you need us.

Social Workers

We provide 24/7 access to emotional support from our licensed counselors.

Volunteer Services

Our volunteers make visits/phone calls to patients or families, help with household chores, run errands, write letters, plus many other services.

Other Services

Through a variety of patient-centered programs, we can provide food boxes, haircuts, and pest control, etc.

Chaplain Service

Chaplains provide spiritual support and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Pet Peace of Mind

Our hospice volunteers assist with pet needs including feeding, walking, veterinarian visits, and medicines. We also assist with adoption services when a patient wants someone to care for their pet.

Non-Profit Hospice

We are governed by a local community board. There are no stockholders.  All income goes back into serving our communities.

Bereavement

Bereavement services are an important part of the programs that Columbus Hospice offers to our community. Our grief support is open to anyone who has lost a loved one, not only patients' families under Columbus Hospice care.

Please call us at 706-569-7992 for more information about our community grief support options. Bereavement counseling is also provided to patients and families that are or have been on service with Columbus Hospice.
